Liberty Retreat
Who Are We?

The ten-acre tract of land that is Liberty Retreat and Conference Center has been in the Tucker family since the 1930s. In the middle of a farming area, the hills and gullies on the site kept it from being profitable for farming. About the only thing it was useful for was hunting.

In 2001, an evolution began. A driveway was cleared and the initial structure, “the cabin” was built. Use of the fully-equipped cabin was made available to Christian workers who wanted to get-away for relaxation, rest and renewal.

The increasing demand for use of the facilities necessitated the addition of dormitories and a conference center in 2005. Since that time a deck has been added that connects the cabin with the dormitories and conference center.

The two dormitories will each comfortably accommodate sixteen people. The conference center has a full kitchen and audio-visual equipment useful for teaching and worship. The cabin is perfect for housing adults who need some time away for preparation and quietness.

An obstacle course, which has proven to be of invaluable service to youth and children’s groups particularly, has been added.

In 2015, Jason and Kimberly Snider have joined us as the on-site managers of the facilities. Their contact information is available on our contact tab.

Also, LRCC sends out a monthly newsletter. To be added to our mailing list, please send your email address to mmatani97@yahoo.com.

LRCC is a faith-based 501c-3 ministry. We open the doors and trust the Lord to take care of His camp. We solicit your prayers and help in any way that God directs you. Being a 501c-3 ministry, all donations are tax deductible.

Come join God’s work at LRCC.

Team Work

A Message
from the Executive Director

A few weeks back, I was asked a question about Liberty being a faith-based ministry and what that means. Simply stated, being a faith-based ministry means that we trust God to meet our every need. Whether it is a mower or blower or a scholarship for a student for summer camp, we trust God.

We say yes to every child or group regardless of their ability to pay any fee for their stay at LRCC. You might be asking how that is possible. Again, we trust God...and He uses you and me.

That's why we ask you to seek God's heart about being a supporter of LRCC. We need your prayers! We need your financial support! God will take those prayers and gifts and turn them into blessings for the hundreds of guests that find a place of rest or retreat at LRCC and hear God speaking to them..
